Make a mouse click on the bottom part of the layers’ panel on Create new fill or adjustment layer>Curves

Take after that the Pen Tool (P) to represent the left half of the logotype’s element we want to have in the end. Its shape may be changed with Convert Point Tool. The color in this case should be selected the black one.

Make a copy of the recent made layer and select the Free Transform option to turn around the copy, placing it the same way indicated below.

Put together both halves into a single rasterized layer. Press Ctrl button to mark out the necessary layers and finally press Ctrl+E. Select for this layer the parameters shown below by making a mouse click on this layer on the layers’ panel. Blending Options>Drop Shadow

Next we’ll download from dafont.com the font Transport. Set it and insert the logotype of Harley Davidon company.

Rasterize this layer too. In this case we have to create a new layer, pressing Ctrl button and marking out both layers and then press Ctrl+E. Create a new layer under the new layer that we’ve got and choose for it the Brush Tool (B) to paint it with two colors not getting outside the logo’s edge.

Select the next parameters for the layer with the brush: Blending Options>Bevel and Emboss

Getting a better result is possible if combining together in a group both layers composing the rivet (press Ctrl button to mark out the corresponding layers and hold on the left mouse’s button while taking them on Create a new group option). Make a copy of the represented group and select Free Transform option to place the copy the way demonstrated below:

Create a new layer which must be placed above the Curves layer, but under the logotype’s layers. Using the Pen Tool (P) and the Convert Point Tool, try to make the bottom part of the logotype.

Make a copy of this layer and select the Free Transform option to turn over the copy, placing it as below. The copy’s layer must be situated above the previous layer:

Make a kind of deepening under the logotype. Create a new layer above the Curves effect on which we’ll apply the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) (the circle option) The top part of the circle should be painted with the usual Brush Tool (B) of black color and the lowest part – with the white color.
