
This tutorial will show you a simple method to create a futuristic wallpaper that you can use for your desktop or for any sort of web background.
Open a new file with 1280×1024 px and 72 dpi, then apply the next shown tool

to represent the file’s background.

Select after that this instrument

and try to create the lowest layer for the next logotype to be.

Take now a different instrument

and draw an element of the logotype to be, like that one shown below:

Select now this tool

and represent for the beginning the exterior edges of a ring, then press the Alt button and by using the previous instrument, it’s possible to cut out the inside zone of the same ring.

Using the last instrument, we have to draw a flare of white color placed on the upper part of the logotype.


Fill 50% on the layers.

We have also to click on the following element shown here

and apply the next instrument

Take now the indicated tool here

and make the necessary preparedness, reserved for the one of the logotype’s elements.

Select the previous instrument after that and be ready to create another layer, that one from the image below:

Choose this tool now

and draw a usual flare of white color:


Fill 20% on the layers.
For your convenience now, merge down in a group all the layers composing this small object situated in the ring’s zone.
Now we have to make five copies of this group and place them exactly the same way it is shown in the next picture:

Select now the next tool

to represent another ring the same way we did earlier with the previous one.
First represent the exterior edges, then click on the Alt button and using the last instrument, cut out the interior zone of the ring.

Now we have to place under the logotype a kind of wide stripe. Represent it with the next tool

Place inside the already created stripe another one, applying the same instrument used before.
